The Federal University of Health Sciences Azare (FUHSA) was established by the late former president Muhammadu Buhari, who established the university in response to other federal universities that have been established in the country.

Federal University of Health Science Azare (FUHSA) was established in the year 2021, and it received accreditation the same year from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to offer health programs, with academic activities commencing the same year merged with the following year’s set.

Admission Requirements

● Admission into undergraduate programs is through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

● UTME candidates must have at least five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects in not more than two sittings, including the English Language and Mathematics.

● Candidates must attain the required UTME score in relevant subjects.

● Qualified UTME candidates will undergo a screening interview conducted by the university.

● Direct Entry candidates must also have five (5) SSCE credit passes in relevant subjects.

● Direct Entry applicants must possess at least two (2) A’Level passes in relevant subjects, or an ND with credit passes, or a good first degree in a related field.

● Qualified Direct Entry candidates will also undergo a screening interview conducted by the university.

● Applicants must meet both general university requirements and specific faculty/departmental requirements.

● The university does not accept transfer students until after its first two years of establishment.

● You will be redirected to the login page after account activation.

● Log in using your phone number as both your username and password.

● Confirm your details and proceed to make payment using your preferred payment method.

● Complete the application form by filling in your personal details and other required information.

● Select your preferred program of study from the available courses.

● Enter your educational qualifications, including O’Level results (maximum of two sittings). Direct Entry applicants should also provide ND, HND, NCE, A’Level, IJMB, or equivalent qualifications where applicable.

● Upload a recent passport photograph with a plain background in JPEG format (not more than 50KB).

● Review your application carefully and submit it online.

● Print your application form after successful submission for reference.

● Attend the physical screening with original credentials such as O’Level results, JAMB slip, A’Level/Direct Entry certificates, birth certificate/declaration of age, indigene letter, and photocopies of required documents.

● Wait for SMS notification regarding your screening date, time, venue, and application status.
