Sokoto State 2025 Civil Service Recruitment Third Batch List Released
The Sokoto State Government has released the third batch list of successful candidates for the 2025 Sokoto State Civil Service Recruitment. This announcement was released by the Sokoto State Recruitment Committee, set up by His Excellency Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto, to oversee the entire recruitment process.
With the released of this third list, 1,000 additional candidates have been selected, bringing the total number of newly recruited civil servants to 3,000. This completes the recruitment approval earlier granted by the Sokoto State Government, following the successful employment of 2,000 candidates in the first and second batches.
What the Third Batch Release Means
Candidates should note that with release of the third batch list of successful candidates, the 2025 civil service recruitment by the Sokoto State Government is now completed. Candidates found their names on this list are now finally selected for appointment into various ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs) in the state.
With this announcement, the Sokoto State Government has fulfilled it is plan and promise to strengthen public service delivery by filling civil servants personnel gap.
Important Instructions for all Successful Candidates
The Recruitment Committee has issued an important information to all successful candidates in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd batches. All successful applicants must visit the employment portal to reprint their selection slip. To do this, you are required to login using your Reference Number and Reprint a clear hard copy of the Selection Slip
You should note that screenshots, scanned images, or mobile phone copy will not be accepted. Only printed slips will be recognized during the next stage of the recruitment.

The government has also warned applicants to stay away from unofficial websites or individuals claiming to secure them employment by paying them. The employment process is free.
Document Submission and Verification Details
Successful candidates will be required to present their selection slip and other required documents at the Office of the State Head of Service, Usman Faruku Secretariat on a date for this physical verification exercise to be announced in due course.

- Printed Selection Slip
- Original and photocopies of academic certificates.
- Photocopies of other documents
The above documents will be used to verify information submitted during the application stage. Candidates are advised to make sure that all documents are accurate, complete, and the same with their application records to avoid disqualification.

Applicants will be communicated through their email addresses supplied during the online application. Instruction on the verification dates, posting, and other next steps will be sent directly to candidates via email and through their dashboards.

What Happens Next for Successful Candidates?
After the completion of documents verification and screening, candidates will receive further instructions on posting, orientation, and resumption of duty.
The civil service commission wishes to inform those applicants who were not successful in the recruitment that they should continue to follow the State Government employment portal for future opportunities.
