National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure in collaboration with Powerstove Energy is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for the available job vacancies. The recruitment is part of an effort to established modern assembly factories producing clean and affordable cooking solutions for millions of Nigerian households.

Powerstove-NASENI is leading the way in sustainable energy innovation. The company designs smart and smoke-free cookstoves that also generate electricity using bio pellets made from post-harvest crop and wood waste. As the only indigenous producer of these pellets in Nigeria, Powerstove-NASENI is helping communities reduce energy costs while contributing to environmental sustainability.

To promote clean energy in our environment, Powerstove-NASENI directly supports carbon emission reduction and the creation of verifiable carbon credits. These efforts will help Nigeria to access climate finance, promote green value chains, and advanced it’s global climate commitments. The aim of Powerstove-NASENI’s is to provide innovative solutions, environmental impact, economic growth, and social development.

Available Job Positions

NASENI and Powerstove Energy is hiring for the following positions in these States; Lagos, Maiduguri, Kano, Enugu, Benue.

1. Factory Operations Manager

• Candidates should possess 8 to 12 years experience in manufacturing or factory management.
• Applicants with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or Operations.
• Demonstrate an experience in factory setup, production planning and assembly line management.
• Possess a strong leadership skills for managing large number of people.
• Have a knowledge of manufacturing and operational frameworks together with budgeting and resource planning.

2. Quality Control and Assurance Engineer.

• Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 8 years experience in manufacturing quality assurance.
• Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Quality Engineering.
• Candidates with certificates such as CQE or Six Sigma will have an added advantage.
• Applicants with experience in quality testing, emissions standards, product certification and ISO-compliant quality systems is required.
• Demonstrate a strong analytical and documentation skills.

3. Supply Chain & Logistics Officer

• 4 to 7 years previous experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics.
• Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related fields.
• Applicants with working experience in inventory management, distributor logistics, warehousing and ERP systems.
• Applicants with superb skills in negotiation and vendor management with a focus on efficiency and cost management.

4. Community Engagement and HSE Officer.

• Applicants needed under this role should have a 4 to 6 years experience in HSE, community relations or ESG roles.
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, Social Sciences fields or related disciplines.
• HSE certificate such as NEBOSH or OSHA will give you an added advantage.
• Previous working experience in risk assessments, safety training, and community outreach is important.
• Must show a strong communication, verbal skills and cultural awareness.

5. Marketing & Sales Coordinator (State Level).

• Candidates must posses 3 to 5 years experience in marketing, sales, or business development.
• Individuals with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related fields.
• Candidates with previous experience in managing distributor networks, market campaigns and promotional events.
• Strong customer engagement and ability to adapt marketing strategies to local trends are needed.
