The TRCN Professional Qualifying Examination (PQE) 2026 is conducted by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria. To become a professional and recognized teacher in Nigeria, you need to pass the examination, receive a certificate and license by the regulatory body.

Non-Eligible Qualifications
One cannot register if he/her has only:
- O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, etc.)
- National Diploma (ND)
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND without PGDE or PDE.
- Certificates not related to education
