This is to inform candidates who applied for Nigerian Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS) Batch 38 Recruitment that the final list of successful candidates for training has been released

The general public is hereby informed that the names of successful candidates for Nigerian Navy Basic Training School Batch 38 Recruitment are available at https://www.joinnigeriannavy.navy.mil.ng

Accordingly, the successful candidates are to report for training at the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School Onne, Rivers State, on Saturday 11th April, 2026.

Candidates invited for the training  have satisfied the requirements of all screening stages, which means they are being shortlisted. This stage is necessary and is meant to make sure that recruits are trained and ready for active service.

candidates are advised to cross-check their names on the portal and verify that all details are accurate. It is advisable, to download, and save the list for easy reference. Candidates are to ensure that they do not visit any third party website to avoid misinformation or scams.

Instructions for Successful Candidates

Also, candidates are expected to download Parent/Guardian Consent Form from the Nigerian Navy website. The form must be signed by the Parents/Guardians, stamped and approved by a court. The form is to be presented on resumption for training at Nigerian Navy Basic Training School Onne, Rivers State.

The failure to present the stamped and endorsed Parent/Guardian Consent Form will automatically disqualify the candidate from training. This requirement is mandatory to all candidates. If a candidate arrives for training without the stamped and endorsed Parent/Guardian Consent Form, the individual will be automatically disqualified from training.

Items Required for Training

Candidates are to report with the following items:

  • A photocopy of an application form
  • NIN print-out slip
  • Original and photocopies of credentials.
  • Scratch cards for WAEC & NECO
  • Passport photographs
  • BVN print out
  • Two Navy blue physical training shorts.
  • Two white round neck vests
  • Two pairs of white canvas shoes
  • Two pairs of brown canvas shoes
  • Two pairs of white long-sleeved shirts.
  • Two pairs of black trousers
  • Black ties Black shoe (1 pair)
  • Three pairs of long white socks
  • Two pairs of national dress (native wears).
  • Two sets of cutlery
  • Two navy blue bed sheets and blankets.
  • Two white bed sheets
  • Mosquito netting
  • Toiletries Five gym/sports bras for ladies.
  • Five black short ladies tights for female.

All items listed are essential and are to be put together before reporting date. Candidates are advised to arrange the items neatly to avoid undue pressure at the registration point.

Reporting Deadline and Disqualification Warning

All the successful candidates are further reminded that failure to report by 14th April, 2026 shall automatically disqualify an applicant from the training and their vacancies shall be withdrawn without further notice. Candidates are advised to report to the training school earlier before the time. Delay or excuses after the deadline shall not be entertained by the authority.

Important Guidelines for Candidates

Candidates are also expected to maintain discipline and abide by all instructions. The Nigerian Navy maintain a system whereby each recruit is considered to be ready and committed from day one.
